Sometimes I get lucky and the reason is easy to see. Other times I have to just chalk it up to the Monkey Mind. If I am physically excited and this is intruding on the moment, I may use breath counting to bring myself down.

When you catch yourself being Not Wrong but an asshole anyway that is the toughest time to abide and remember that we all have opinion and assholes and sometimes they stink up the joint! πŸ˜‰

As an educator I can see the results of this development almost every day and it makes me wonder how the Dude would feel towards smartphones and AI.
We know that he is a progressive mind who was a member of the student activist movement of the 60s. So I assume that he would not be against the progress of technology in general. On the other hand he likes to keep his mind limber and be creative. And he likes to jerk of manually, so he is a friend of the physical world and probaly would not spend too much time in the digital world? He also likes to hang out with his friends face to face. So how do you handle the challenges of more and more screen time and mind numbing AI content as fellow dudes? I think I lost my train of thought here.

I have also been struggling with my inner Walter. Dudeism has provided me with a practical tool to live a more relaxed life. I am thankful for that. With little kids it is not always easy to stay calm though. I am still trying to stay more relaxed more often. What do you do to channel your inner Dude?
