Hahahaha. Anything can be made to sound far out if you use a lot of words! Maybe we should start a field of study called Superfluology where we teach people to use superfluous descriptions to make simple things sound complex.

I personally like when they sound like existing fields, but with a twist. So instead of Information Technology (IT) it could be Formation Technology, maybe. Or Disinformation Technology (not something we really want to promote though!). Instead of Cybernetics, it could be Hibernetics (how tech helps us relax). Or Techosophy – the philosophy of tech. Actually I think I like that one the best. Any other ideas along those lines?
