I have drawn since I was a little kid. It’s helped me, aling with Bob Ross, abide the bullshit going on in my family. I’m not formally trained in a standard sense of art.
I’m a tattoo artist, the low brow or “hot mess” of the art world. I used to draw tattoos on myself when I was young. That was cool. That was cool.
You’re question is far out, man; where does it come from? It my case I think it was a case of paper vs. people. It’s like, you can draw on the wall or you can make that connection & draw it on a person. They live and breath the art that you live and breath.
So without all the blathering I’ll say fuck it. To me it doesn’t much matter from wence it came. It exists & in pure form. Light, color, shading is all, man.
So maybe the beauty of one’s mind and the collision of the world or your special lady friend, whatever you find beauty in. It’s an is.

I totally agree. Over complicating is easy. Simplicity can.be too if one is used to over complicating.

Perhaps the fear of mortality is really underlying. You can pile all the websites & tests but in the end it weighs down the person with a heap of dunk from a black steers tukus. Death is inevitable. Fuck it, no? Mortality is not a fun thought but it simply is. It’s going to happen. Have a Caucasian. Simplicity in itself.

You make a good point. Simplicity & minimalism are very close though isn’t minimalism a philosophy steming from the Theory of Simplicity? A sub-philosophy if you will?
It’s something to ponder though breaking the cup is rather existential and there for not Simplicity at all. Existential acts are so complex, taking in the human mind, thoughts, FEELINGS & that desire to to finish your coffee that it could make very undude.
You know I had not thought of that. I think that to hear those first prayers you have to reach a state where everything is new. Limber mided as that may sound it could be something that is very powerful in your bean.
Say, for instance you love the water, I do myself but not so much toilet water, & think of this: there were no religions & I am the first one saying this. Sort of an improvised state of being first inline.
