I think the idea of calling the mascot the fighting Marmots is contrary to everything Dudeism stands for, or sits for as the case may be.
Where does it say “fighting marmots”?
I think any university-level sports team would embrace the moniker. Especially a serious bowling team. Having noticed the palpable tension that exists between the Dude’s team and what’s his name in the tight pants (clearly wrong for the noble sport of bowling), it is only right that The Fighting Marmots is appropriate however, in deference to the schools commitment to chill, I purpose the “Mighty Marmots” which lends itself to both peace and some snazzy bowling shirts.
