Does anyone know if one has already been made? What info should be included in an overview pamphlet? Should it pretty much be the dudeism.com “What is Dudeism?” and http://www.dudeism.com ? Maybe have a quick FAQ rundown on the back page of the pamphlet?
Thoughts? I’d like to be able to print some down and hand them out when I meet someone who is interested in learning more.

Great idea Joey! I’ll bet Oliver has something or could give us permission to use info from the website.

I’ve been thinking along similar lines, except looking at how much useful information could fit on a business card instead of a pamphlet. This is my initial attempt , which I think would fit comfortably when using both sides of a business card.

It has 3 core principles:
1. To just take it easy
2. To be dude (easy-going) to others
3. To keep a limber mindIt’s up to you to work out how to interpret, balance and apply these principles in your own life.
Dudeism aims to be inclusive, using the term “dude” to mean an easy-going person of any gender. Anyone can become an ordained minister for free at dudeism.com.

I like the business card idea. Isn’t that a lot of info to fit on a card though? Respectfully.

Yeah, business cards are cool. You can get lots of fancy ones now as well.
How about, just the Dudeism symbol with ‘Abide’ under it. Email address for the Dudeism website could be in small font bottom right. 🙂
Here ya go, couple minutes on a website for a basic version (those of you with skill at this sort of thing could probably make this look even better).
What I like is that it’s simple, and really that’s pretty Dude. 😉

Hi pork78, I was surprised at how much seems to fit when using both sides of a business card. Of course I’d need to get some printed to see how they look in the real world, but the preview on vistaprint.com.au makes it look quite readable…
I’m still playing with the actual text to both make it as informative as possible as well as looking good when laid out in such a limited format. If anyone wants I can post the card images used for these previews, or I can keep trying to come up with something better.
