Church Services

A fellow Dude and I have been holding regular(ish) monthly(ish) services. They have been going quite well and are very beneficial.

Is anyone else hold holding services/has a congregation? I’d love to compare formats and see what’s working well for you!

I live in an area where people don’t like to do such things. They tend to want things done but not actually do them. So when I plan services and meetups and what-have-yous, they plan to plan to show up. 🙂

Yeah, Whenever I hold services we have roughly 12 people say they are coming. I plan on 4. It’s the MO of our demo. But those 4 that show up are a solid group of dudes (it’s actually 2 guys and 2 special lady friends that show up). It’s a great time. Very useful. Sorta like a group therapy session.

We do the occasional zoom service. About every other month. We are in a high covid area and we just yesterday got restrictions lifted so bars and restaurants can open. Hopefully we can do something in person again soon.

There are several defunct bowling alleys near me that might make nice Chapels! 😉
