I personally disagree with a voting system. I think each post should have it’s own weight and merit based on the content, not by the number of “upvotes”. One of my biggest personal gripes with websites such as Reddit. Voting usually does more harm than good, and I think with this community it would not be necessary to include at all.
Far out, same for me here. Once we get some more Dudes on board it would be great to organize a meetup.
Trying to be as Dudely as possible is, paradoxically, un-Dudely itself. The more of a Dude you try to be, the more uptight you become while stressing about it.
My advice is to just let it flow. Recognize when you’re being uptight, but focus on why you’re being uptight. And sometimes, life is just a little fucked right now and it’ll be a little while til it’s un-fucked, and that’s okay too. Don’t worry about trying to be, and just be.
Heavy cream is usually the “official” White Russian, though as the name goes, it’s a very heavy drink. Milk is good for a lighter Russian, though usually too light in my opinion. My perfect balance is half ‘n half; it’s light enough to not upset the tummy yet heavy enough to cut down the harshness of the vodka and Kahlua. But try out a few recipes, man, and see what you like for yourself.
