Average DudeParticipant
I saw a film ages ago that had an awesome quote for this. Two ticks, I’mma gonna search google…..
Found it! (Sorry if the link doesn’t work): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1783732/quotes/qt1904902
Basically it says: “You’re gonna die, Arnie. Someday you will face that moment. And at that moment you will face either complete nonexistence, or you will face something even stranger. On an actual day in the future, Arnie, you will be in the unimaginable. It is physically impossible to avoid it.”
So basically, the way I see it is. There is nothing you can do about, why worry about it. 🙂
Hope that makes sense. I’ve had many a beer tonight.
Average DudeParticipant
” The beauty in this is simplicity, once the plan is to complex anything can go wrong. ” – Walter in The Big Lebowski
why did Walter day this, is it because it is simple just with plan A and B, because having A B C D E etc, is to complex and anything go wrong, I love the quote because of simplicity theory (occam’s razor) so I am letting you dudes decide, what do you guys think about this quote.?
This exactly. Keeping things simple (if possible), seems like the best way to go. Hard to think of when that’s not the best option. 🙂Average DudeParticipantYeah, you’re dead on, Turturro is a really good actor, hopefully he’s as funny as he was in TBL. I think a lot of that was him giving character to the role anyway, so maybe that’ll help.
I just think it’d be awesome to go see it with a bunch of fellow dudes. Worst case, you get some popcorn and a nap. 🙂
Also, we tend to hit the pub after movies to drown to kill any brain cells with alcohol that might remember the bad bits. 😉
Average DudeParticipantLOL, Dudeliest dudeish dudeist of dudeness, dude sounds good! 🙂
Average DudeParticipantHey tjcook,
Nice one bud, I’m sure you’ll write an awesome book! Looking forwarded to seeing it in print. 🙂
Average DudeParticipantLoved that film when I was a kid.
Average DudeParticipantPretty sure The Dude won’t be in it. 🙂
Still I read somewhere that we’ll get to find out how ‘The Jesus’ ended up being on the register, as in he’s not actually a dodger and was setup somehow.
Average DudeParticipantYeah, business cards are cool. You can get lots of fancy ones now as well.
How about, just the Dudeism symbol with ‘Abide’ under it. Email address for the Dudeism website could be in small font bottom right. 🙂
Here ya go, couple minutes on a website for a basic version (those of you with skill at this sort of thing could probably make this look even better).
What I like is that it’s simple, and really that’s pretty Dude. 😉
Average DudeParticipantFrom what I hear about Wallmart, shopping there might be more like a survival show. 😉
Average DudeParticipantHeyo!
Maybe Dudeish would be more like a description for someone who did something that’s something a Dudeist might do?
Person Getting Frustrated with something: “Sigh… you know what man? Fu*k it.”
Person Watching the Ordeal: “Hah, that was a pretty Dudeish thing to say.”
Although, I think ‘Dudeist’ would fit for that as well, so maybe it doesn’t really matter. 🙂
Average DudeParticipantGlad to hear it! 🙂

Hey buddy, only noticed that bit today. Hope you’re doing better now. Just make sure to take it easy. 🙂
Average DudeParticipant
DIMENCIATION
This word, I’ll need to Google. 🙂
That means, if there is ever some UK Dudeism-fest thing, I might see you there! 🙂P.S. It’d still be awesome to have some Global Dudeists there as well. Obviously….
Average DudeParticipant
Hey Dude,
..I like Abidance Technology….
Yeah, me too, that’s a good title. You could even add ‘ogist’ tp the end. 🙂 Technologist’s seems to be something I run into a lot nowdays.
Abidance Technologist.
